I have spoken to you in these little written compositions of some rather weighty matters. Other inclusions meant to provide a bit of drollery and fun as a respite for both you and me. Here I want to offer you a final picture – not specially related to this or any text – but solely shown to you for your enjoyment. Ahead of me now lie writing tasks which I cannot fit into a tight-spaced deadline plan. I hope you liked my weekly series of reflections, as I surely treasure your attention to it.

I have spoken of you often over the years, my art teacher at Kalamazoo College. The design class you offered gave me joy and freedom and was greatly valued by me, if not so important to the admissions committee at Univ. of Michigan Medical School. Why did I choose tonight to "google" your name? I know not. But I want to thank you and let you know that you are remembered well by such an insignificant person. You took my only two good compositions; I gave them when you asked my first name. Your reference to medical school helped me to remember who you are. I am sorry that I can no longer remember the work that you let me keep at the end of class. Up to even a couple of years ago I have used professional slides of early student work from those days as aides in classes I gave in my local community. I should much welcome to hear from you how your life progressed after you completed college. My wife wants to send you a book of my preparations for a seminar that I offered in Lancaster, PA before we moved to Rhode Island. In order to do this, we would need your physical address. My published books are all on Amazon, if you are unable to send your address It was lovely to hear from you, Johannes
