Who We Are

A career artist and and family members who lived interesting lives, with love of life, writing and the arts.

The word "amateur" comes from the word for love -- handed down through generations.

Our History

Johannes has been doing art since about age ten and writing essays and books since undergraduate days at Rhode Island School of Design.

Selling, promoting, exhibiting have not been central interests, yielding  family collections reaching back into time, now being presented to the public.
